Recipe: Fresh Dill Salad Recipe

This light, herby salad celebrates dill’s bright flavor and natural health benefits. Perfect as a side dish or a cooling complement to grilled meats, fish, or Mediterranean-inspired meals.

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1 English cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • ½ small red onion (thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup radishes (thinly sliced, optional for crunch)
  • ¼ cup fresh dill (chopped)
  • ½ cup feta cheese (crumbled)

Dressing

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, for balance)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber, tomatoes, onion, and radishes. Place in a large bowl.
  2. Add chopped dill and crumbled feta.
  3. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle dressing over the vegetables and toss gently until coated.
  5. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for the flavors to meld.
